I am trying to figure out how to turn this Princess panel into a twin size quilt, for a 5 year old. I do not want to just boarder it out. It is 35 by 44 and needs to be at least 55 by 80. Minimum. Any Ideas?

I am also still trying to decide what to do about the Black White and red quilt.

  1. What if you put maybe a yellow border, then put a light pink/dark pink ribbon border, then end it with a yellow border and maybe bind it in pink?

  2. Deb, I did one of these for my granddaughter for a Christmas present and I put two tone pinwheels around the panel making it into a full size quilt and then a darker border in pink and a maroon binding. The pinwheels didn't take away from the panel for I used as close to the two pinks as I could get. Just a thought. As far as the B/W/R quilt, what about borders of the same material or even the blends in the black, white and red to finish it out? The solids would make the prints stand out in the center for sure.
