UFO's Callenge

Well I have decided to enter with the Patchwork Times UFO Challenge. I have way to many UFOs but at the same time dread starting them again. Below are 10 UFO's, two of them are such big projects I decided to claim 2 mo's for each with specifics I need to get accomplished for that month.

1 & 6 Black scrap double wedding ring, current condition half way cut out. First month called I will finish cutting it out and get all of the arcs completed. second month put everything together and quilt it. (maybe I should have done 3 months)

2 & 7 Red and white Sq in Sq in Sq Current condition blocks cut out and 1 sq done. First month called finish all blocks send month put together and quilt

3 Apple blossom princess panel throw (Donation)

4 RW&B (Donation)

5 Green Dog panel Twin

8 Animal train baby quilt current condition squares together but needs a boarder and quilted.

9 bugs red (Both bugs quilts are cut up panels)

10 Bugs Blue

12 Black and Whit with red

There are a total of 12 Large closets plus the coat and shoe closet in the entry. One is Walk in about 5'x8 or so. Then each bedroom and the Tetomi Room have these huge about 3.5 to 4 foot deep floor to ceiling built in closets. 2 in smallest bedroom and 3 in all the other rooms in each of the bed rooms there built in Chest of drawers in one of the closets. then in the Tetomi room and Master BR there are 3 drawers built in at the bottom of several of the closets. You would not believe the storage space this has/ Plus 4 built in windowed book case closets

News - Give away- Design Wall

I am soooo Sorry! As You all have probably figure out by now, my Move was moved up from November to September and With the crazy move hassles I just did not get anything sent out. As I am now in Japan and all of my scraps are here with me it is just to expensive to send to the states, I am soo sorry to get everyones hopes up.

HI! Everyone! I know this is design wall MONDAY but I have absolutely nothing on my design wall. I did complete and quilt the Noahs Ark Crib Quilt, this last week and I hope to start a strip quilt this week.

Now for the NEWS. YeH! I have accepted a new job in Okinawa Japan. I work for the Air Force and they need a systems accountant at Kadena AB and I was offered the position. I will leave in Oct for 2 years.

And that leads to the give away. Over the next couple of weeks I will have to get rid of at least some of my fabric. Probably all off my scraps. I have a LOT of scraps. The first to go is a gallon ziplock of hunks of scrap. it is stuffed with odd size fabric from 4 x 4 inch minimum to just under a fat qtr. if you are interested leave a comment.

Design Wall Monday

We have a young Airman (Trudy) in our office that is due in about 3 weeks, Last week, I found out she is decorating her baby room with Blue and Tan with a Noah's Ark theme. I came home searched my stash and sure enough I found a small piece of Noah's Ark Material. there was not enough for blocks but I think the 2 boarders will look good, there is also a small piece that I may try cutting up and appliqueing over the centers of the diamonds. as you can see I did a very poor job with some of the centers. but I think it will look OK after I quilt it and maybe put a lions or rabbit head over the worst of the centers.
