If you compare the data from last week with the data from this week you will see they just do not add up. I found an error on my spreadsheet and these should be the correct numbers.
I had an extra special thing happen this week, In all of the quilts I have donated (24 in the last year and a half) Only once was I ever been thanked by the recipient themselves. usually I get a thank you letter from the organization with a tax slip. But this week I received a picture of 3 girls wrapped in their quilts and a letter from each of them and from the foster mom. Thanking me for the quilts I made for Megan Paige and Bailey. They where so very special. May god bless each of them threw their lives.

Quilts of Valor And Home of the Brave
Well it seems I have taken on a new project. I was at a health fair on base, and saw a sign for Quilts of Valor at the family services booth. Of course I asked about it, thinking it might be a local group to the national chapter. So I start talking to the people a family services and find out there is not a local group. But if I would like to start a group, Family services would be glad to sponsor the program. Well it has been advertised and We start the Vance Chapter of the Quilts of Valor Next Monday at 5:30.
I am picturing just a few people getting together to make charity quilts. Some will bring their own charity projects to work on, others will make squares for the group projects.
Quilts of Valor are for Wounded Vet's.
Home of the Brave are signature quilts for the parents or spouses of soldiers unable to return.
Please keep me and the new Chapter in your prayers.
Thank you,

Stash Report and Design Wall Monday
Does it count if the fabric is donated? A friend donated 6 yards of kids material to my quilting ministry. That material is gorgeous.
So
Added this week 6
Used this week 0
Net used (-5.5)
As for design wall Monday I am afraid the design wall is blank again, so all I can show off is my leader-ender scrap fabric project. I think I have enough strips for a queen size quilt.

Design Wall Monday
Well my real design wall is blank, as I am currently in between projects. But I am slowly working on this checkerboard quilt. I got the idea from someone online (canot remember who) that is doing a postage stamp quilt like this. Well I do not have many 1.5 inch strips for the postage stamp but I have LOTS of 2 inch strips.
